many of the institutions we see around us 
everyday. Political institutions are one of the most 
resistant to change in our society. Businesses 
come and go, social clubs and social institutions 
come and go, governments remain, and remain 
almost unchanged, but that kind of change can’t 
continue into the future because they’re too 
disruptive to human society in the global village. 

Neighbourhoods very rarely go to war with nuclear 
weapons, only nation states do, and the threats 
the nation states still contain to humanity on the 
planet, that threat needs to be addressed. And I 
think that new media, digital technology,
